FileSECURE enables organizations to persistently protect, track and control information, ensuring that it will be used only as permitted. FileSECURE helps reduce administrative costs, the risk of intellectual property loss, fines and lawsuits associated with violating privacy regulations.
FileSECURE can be integrated with Sharp Digital IMAGERs™ and Document Communication Systems, creating an efficient process for protecting and distributing scanned images. This automatic ScanSecure functionality makes securing scanned documents as easy as a press of a button. You can even select security settings and recipients from the IMAGER's LCD Panel!
Through FileSECURE, Sharp Digital IMAGER™ scans are secure, access controlled, and tracked for compliance with HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Billey, Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory statutes.

FileSECURE can also be used to secure electronic files right from your desktop. This can be done through Sharpdesk's™ intuitive, file management interface or by using FileSECURE as a stand-alone application.


FileSECURE is comprised of the following 3 components:
  1. FileSECURE Author allows you to set security permissions that determine who can use files - and how they can use them. Easily change access permissions, such as view, print, copy, and control at any time. The original file remains retrievable.
  2. FileSECURE Reader enables users inside or outside your organization to access files that enforce your security policies. The Reader opens automatically when the user clicks a file.
  3. FileSECURE Server manages file encryption keys, permission assignments, and user account information. Protected files pass directly from the Author to the recipient - never touched by the FileSECURE Server.
